We believe that no one should suffer from clothing poverty. The ability to clothe ourselves and our families is not a luxury, nor is it something that can be abandoned to the cruelty of market forces. It belongs to the dignity of every single human being.
“I was naked and you clothed me”. These words, spoken by Jesus, are our inspiration to serve everyone who suffers from clothing poverty to the best of our ability.
But we are aware that what really needs to change is the inequality and injustice that leads to clothing poverty in the first place. We call on everyone in a positions of power and responsibility to take this challenge seriously and to join with us in campaigning to make clothing poverty a thing of the past.
